Homebuying Process
1. Preparation

2. Get Pre-Approved
We also offer TBD Pre-approvals, so you can get pre-approved before
finding your dream home!
- We will look at your entire financial picture and help you decide on a purchase price, optimal down payment amount and an ideal monthly payment based on your financial and homebuying goals
3. Begin Home Shopping
- Search for your dream home and make an offer!
If you need a real estate agent referral we are happy to provide one
4. Finalize Loan Application
- We'll need to gather any additional documentation about you (the borrower) and the property that we do not already have to assemble a complete package for the underwriter
- Order property inspection and appraisal (if required)
- Coordinate with you on your new homeowner’s insurance policy and your new HOA (if applicable)
5. Loan Underwriting
- An underwriter will review your loan package, to determine what additional information they need to complete the loan process
- Don't worry! We're here for you throughout the entire process
6. Clear to Close
- Final and complete loan documents are sent to the title company, and a closing day will be scheduled
- Gather required closing cost fees and get a certified or cashier's check for closing, or prepare a wire to the title company
- You will do your final home inspection walk-through before closing and review closing disclosures; outlining the final terms and costs of the mortgage
7. Closing
- Final purchasing documents will be signed to complete the mortgage paperwork
- Title will transfer from the seller to you and you get the keys to your new home! Congratulations!
